Tatkal Booking Quota is only opened 1 day prior to the journey day. In case you want to book a train ticket at the last moment, you can try the tatkal booking process. However, there will be an additional charge.
First go to the irctclogin.co.in login page above to sign in to your account.Check train availability between two stations. If tatkal option is available on that particular day, you will see the below option.
Choose the Tatkal option, Select a train and class of journey (A/C, Sleeper, Seating, e.t.c) to check the availability. If there are seats available in the tatkal quota, just proceed to the payment.
