What is NGET IRCTC
NGET IRCTC online is the latest version of the Indian Railways' online reservation website. This version is a lot user friendly and faster compared to the older version. Thankfully, you don't have to wait several minutes just to access the online login page.
The user interface of nget.irctc.co.in is a bit different from the former version. After you sign in, a page will be displayed as illustrated below. You can plan a travel, cancel tickets, get refund, check PNR Status, Train Seat Availability, Tatkal Ticket booking, e.t.c through this page.
To Plan a Journey, just enter your From Station, To Station along with the journey date and Ticket Type. You don't need to specify the quota (Tatkal or General) in this page. Just click on the Submit button. All the trains along with arrival and departure times will be displayed as a list.
Just select any train to view the IRCTC seat availability of that specific train. You can also view the Indian Railways train schedule using this feature.
